birthday and goodbye

so last weekend was my nephew's first birthday and i got to do a backdrop for people to take pictures in front of. the theme was dr. seuss so i painted a scene from "oh the places you'll go" and added a few truffula trees because it's so iconic to the style.
i had three days to do the painting and during that time i found the hairdryer to be a lifesaver when it came to drying.

last week also was my last week at titmouse as well, and i gotta say what an experience. i got a lot of hands on experience and learned a ton. while there i jumped around on a couple projects on their youtube channel, rugburn. i worked on executioner mostly, doing some animation, backgrounds, and storyboards as well as majestic loincloth, doing lyric animation. both have really interesting concepts. you can find both on the rugburn channel now.

here is a thank you gif i made to show my gratitude for all titmouse has done for me.

the animation was done by my director, i just changed the dude to resemble me.

giffin'

so at titmouse today i had a little downtime and made a gif comic.

this is kind of a loose interpretation of what it was like when someone asked me about the progress of the junior film.

animal illustrations

the junior film i worked on entitled, "flutter" is now complete and my junior year is coming to a close for that matter. we all worked super hard and can't wait to see it on the big screen...at our school, at least.

aside from that i also finished up the animal drawing class this semester with three illustrations that we had to do for our final. still a lot i need to develop but i had a blast trying to figure things out.

this one is entitled, "some bear getting mad at some rabbits."

this one is called, "an egret chilling on a hippo."

and lastly, "lions need to find another source of food because the buffalo are peacing out."

thank you.
